COPYTRAIL
Keep the useful bits close.
CopyTrail holds copied text, links, and images while you finish a task. These answers cover the iPhone and iPad app.
How do I save something?
Copy an item, open CopyTrail, and tap Save clipboard. You can also use the iOS share sheet to send text or a link directly to CopyTrail. Saved items appear in Clipboard or your active session.
Why does iOS ask to paste?
iOS controls access to content copied in other apps. CopyTrail reads the clipboard while you use the app; it does not silently watch it in the background. You can adjust Paste from Other Apps in iOS Settings for CopyTrail.
How does the keyboard work?
Enable CopyTrail Keyboard in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards. The keyboard needs Full Access to read your saved clips from CopyTrail’s shared storage on this device. Its code does not collect what you type or send your clips to us. Open the keyboard in another app, then tap a saved text clip to insert it.
How do I restore Pro?
Open the Pro screen in CopyTrail and choose Restore Purchases. Use the Apple Account that made the purchase. If an option is temporarily unavailable, try again after checking your connection to the App Store.
